About D & V Flooded Timber
We are proud to offer green timber hunting in the St. Francis bottomland in the heart of the Mississippi flyaway. Hunting will be in five well established heated blinds in flooded green timber with guides who have over 100 years of combined green timber hunting experience.

Duck:
Nov. 23 - Dec. 2, 2024
Dec. 10-23, 2024
Dec. 27, 2024 - Jan. 31, 2025
Hunting License:
- Go to Arkansas Game and Fish Commission or call 800-364-GAME.
- Non-resident hunters purchase a 5 Day Small Game Hunting License (SG5) $70, a Non-Resident Arkansas Waterfowl Stamp (DSN) $35, and a Federal Duck Stamp ($28.50) Must have signature on face of stamps.
- In-state hunters purchase a Resident Sportsman's License (RS) $25 (or a Small Game License (HNT)), a Resident Arkansas Waterfowl Stamp (DSR) $7, and a Federal Duck Stamp ($28.50) Must have signature on face of stamps.
- All hunters must have a Harvest Information Program Registration (HIP) FREE but required
- We will go over your license when you check in to make sure you are legal to hunt.
Pricing & Lodging
$550 per gun, per day. This includes lodging and meals. No Alcohol permitted during hunts.
The lodge is located in Manila, Ar 3 miles west of Big Lake WMA. Can accommodate up to 16 people.
A 50% Non-Refundable deposit is required day of booking. Remaining payment due day of hunt.

Our Guides
Our guides are committed to start well in advance of your arrival to make sure the blind is well maintained, brushed, and everything is in place to hopefully give you the hunt of a lifetime.
What To Bring
Gun:
- We recommend a 12 gauge shotgun, but a 20 gauge will get the job done if that is what you prefer. *MUST HAVE PLUG IN GUN*
- Bring a soft gun case to keep your gun protected from the elements riding to & from blind.
Ammo:
- We recommend 2 boxes of shells for each day you will hunt
- 3" or 3.5" steel shot *NO LEAD*
- Having a shell box or blind bag is recommended.
Blind Bag (Man Purse):
- A few things we recommend to have in your bag; duck calls, game tote, face mask or paint, gloves, ear plugs, flashlight, camera, & snacks.
Duck Calls:
- Our guides are all experienced callers, but this is your hunt so if you want to help call in the ducks it is up to you. When the shooting is slow is a good time for you to practice your calling and get any tips our guides may have to offer.
Clothing:
- Arkansas weather can be very unpredictable so it is best to talk with us about the forecast before you come. A few things to always bring are your insulated waders, camo clothing, camo jacket, hat, gloves, and face mask or paint. *A duck can pick out a shining face from a mile away.
